I thought I was getting too old for this style. I have had Double H, Chippewa, Frye and Florsheim......a few years ago I had a pair of double H boots. I did not wear them every day. I had them for about a year and put them on one morning and the upper separated from the bottom. I contacted Double H and they did not stand behind their product. I was a little hesitant to buy these boots because they were made in China. well guess what? these are the best pair of boots I have had since the early 80's. I have been wearing these boots to work every day for the last 2 months. the foot bed could be a little better secured to the bottom but nothing that a pair of Dr. schols gel inserts wont fix.
